The Royal St Andrews Hotel SA Open Surfing Championships, Presented by Rip Curl, will be enjoying its 60th anniversary this year, and what better way to celebrate than to have it included in the Port Alfred Easter Festival? Taking place on Wednesday 16th April – Thursday 17 April, this event will officially start the 2025 Port Alfred Easter Festival.

This is the second edition of this Open Specialty Surfing Event at East Beach, Port Alfred. It is open to anyone, with the two divisions being Open Men and Open Women. It is the Anchor Event for the Port Alfred Easter Festival.
The event will take place after the Rip Curl GromSearch, and will start on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.
