Ten bands and artists perform this year at Bands Innie Bush at the Port Alfred Easter Festival. For the 2025 edition of the festival, the music has moved to the incredible site on Rosehill Road by the Rosehill Mall.
Friday, we will see the end of the Royal St Andrews SA Open Surfing Champs and the start of the Rip Curl GromSearch junior competition. After the day’s surfing, we move on to the first night of Bands Innie Bush. Here, we have the likes of Robbie Wessels, Lianie May, Van Pletzen, Jack Parow and Appel. It’s apt here to break into a bit of vernacular here, so “kom ons kuier en sokkie tot die son op kom!”

Saturday, the Rip Curl GromSearch continues all day, as well as the Bodyboarding Challenge, the Kowie Granny Grommets, and several other sporting events. The nighttime Bands Innie Bush jol at Rosehill includes Rubber Duc, Majozi, December Streets, Monark, and The Rockerfellas. So, it will be a big day and night out for all.

The gates for the music open at 3 p.m., and tickets are available on Howler. They are R350 / night. All tickets are here: HOWLER.
VIP tickets are available for R1,500. These tickets include event admittance, an event t-shirt, VIP tent access, a shuttle, meal and drink vouchers, and access to Guido’s After Party.
