The Edge Pro Ten Easter Bowls Tournament will take The Edge Pro Ten Easter Bowls Tournament will take place at the Port Alfred Bowls and Croquet Club Over the weekend 4th/5th April, as a key event in the Port Alfred Easter Festival. This super-popular event is presented by EDGE Financial Group and hosted by the PABCC. So popular, in fact, that the 2026 Edge Pro Ten Easter Tournament is officially fully booked! The competition reached capacity within one week of invitations being issued. Due to strong demand, entries increased from 24 to 28 teams, highlighting the growing profile and popularity of the tournament. Participants will compete for prize money and awards valued at R10,000.00. Both the organisers and EDGE Financial Group look forward to expanding the event further and aim to accommodate even more teams in the 2027 edition. Head over to the WSL site and get your name down early, as this draw is going to fill fairly quickly. QS 4,000 for the men and QS 2,000 for the women, with the Rip Curl GromSearch running ahead of it. Surfing from grom froth through to serious points pressure. Lineups will be busy. As the anchor events, the surf tournaments land smack in the middle of the Port Alfred Easter Festival, turning it into four straight days of action. Between heats there will be lekker food and drinks, markets and fairs ticking along, sports events and swims adding to the mix, and Bands Innie Bush setting the soundtrack. Autumn swell, festival buzz, competitive surfing, and a town that knows how to host a proper weekend. Get your entry in, pack the right boards (it was pretty flippen huge in ’24), and settle in.
